Veterinary consultation in Casablanca — dogs, cats and exotic pets
Lethargy, vomiting, limping or a simple annual check-up: the consultation is the gateway to all care. At 60 Boulevard Bir Anzarane in Maârif, Dr Bassir and his team have been receiving Casablanca's dogs, cats and exotic pets (NAC) since 2002 — with a full clinical exam at every visit and clear explanations in five languages.
A complete clinical exam, never rushed
Every consultation begins with a complete clinical exam: weight, temperature, heart and lung auscultation, dental check, skin and coat. The protocol is identical for a three-month-old puppy and a senior cat — that is how a murmur, a lump or dental pain is spotted before symptoms settle in.
We then take the time to explain what we observe and answer your questions. If further tests are useful — blood work in the clinic's own laboratory or an X-ray — they are done on site, often the same day, and the quote is presented to you before any procedure.
Dogs, cats and exotic pets: uncommon expertise
The clinic welcomes all domestic animals, including exotic pets (NAC): rabbits, ferrets, rodents and hedgehogs. These species have fragile physiology and hide their symptoms for a long time: a rabbit that stops eating is an emergency, not a simple upset stomach.
Exotic-pet owners find here a single place for consultation, diagnosis and follow-up — without having to find a different practitioner for each species, and with the same standards as for a dog or a cat.
When should you consult without delay?
Some signs do not forgive waiting. See a vet quickly if your pet shows:
- Sudden apathy or listlessness, hiding in an unusual spot;
- Loss of appetite: one refused meal in a cat or rabbit is already a signal;
- Repeated vomiting or diarrhea with blood;
- Limping, difficulty standing up or jumping;
- Intense scratching, patches, localized hair loss;
- Breathing difficulty or inability to urinate — there, call the emergency line.
Continuous follow-up, visit after visit
Vaccination record, deworming, nutrition advice: your pet's file follows it from one visit to the next. This continuity makes the difference — a dropping weight, a new murmur, dry skin: everything is compared against your companion's history.
And because the team welcomes clients in Arabic, French, English, Russian and Spanish, every explanation is given in your language. Prices for additional procedures are announced in advance, with a written quote as soon as an intervention is considered.
FAQ
How much does a veterinary consultation cost in Casablanca?
The consultation fee is communicated before the exam, and any additional procedure (blood work, X-ray, surgery) comes with a written quote. No surprises at the end of the visit: you decide with full knowledge.
How long does a consultation last?
Allow 20 to 30 minutes in most cases: full clinical exam, explanations and answers to your questions. Complex cases or anxious animals take more time — we do not consult on an assembly line.
Is my rabbit or ferret seen like a dog?
Yes. Exotic pets (rabbits, ferrets, rodents, hedgehogs) are part of the clinic's regular clientele, with an exam adapted to their physiology and specific advice: diet, teeth, ambient temperature.
Do I need an appointment before coming?
An appointment is not mandatory but strongly recommended, via WhatsApp or phone. Emergencies are treated with absolute priority — call the dedicated line before coming and the team will guide you immediately.
